Youth Encounter is a 2-day youth evangelism weekend designed to reach students in Jr/Sr High School for the Gospel, deepen their relationship with Christ, and be sent out to do Kingdom Work in their communities.
Students will participate in worship, hear dynamic preaching, and grow in their relationship with Christ and others through student specific breakout sessions. Join us in Effingham, IL this fall!
SPEAKER
Shane Pruitt
Shane serves as the National Next Gen Director for the North American Mission Board (NAMB). He and his wife, Kasi reside in Texas, with their five children. He has been in ministry for over 20 years as a denominational leader, church planter, lead pastor, and student pastor. Shane is also a traveling communicator, evangelist, and Bible teacher. Every year he speaks to over a hundred thousand people about the good news of Jesus Christ. He is the author of two books, 9 Common Lies Christians Believe: And Why God’s Truth Is Infinitely Better and Calling Out the Called: Discipling Those Called to Ministry Leadership, and is also one of the hosts of The Gensend Podcast. Next Gen Worship Pastor at Metro Community Church.
Marcus Barnes is an American composer, songwriter, singer, musician, and contemporary worship artist. He composes music for concert band/wind ensemble, orchestra, chamber ensembles, solo works, and choir, as well as writing contemporary worship songs for the church. In addition, he also enjoys creating pop/edm music as well. Marcus’ music is most often influenced by his curiosity and interest in different cultures of the world and his Christian faith.

321 Improv creates a unique, interactive comedy experience unlike any you’ve been part of before. 321 Improv instantly turns audience suggestions into hilarious scenes that will bring tears to your eyes, a pain to your side and will make your face ache with laughter!
Carl Crispin started 321 Improv in 2004 and has been traveling and performing improvisational comedy full time for 18 years. Joining wits with Mike Domeny and Jeremy Schofield, 321 Improv brings a level of energy that makes the show completely unpredictable.
