The Prairie Center
The Prairie Center, also known as as the bear house, is the most used building at the camp. With its two large bunk rooms, three small hotel rooms, and its own conference/kitchen, this building is great for all kinds of groups.
Bunk Rooms
The Prairie Center has two large bunk rooms. Bunk room one houses 10 bunk beds or 20 beds and has a shared bathroom that has two toilets, two showers and two sinks. Bunk room two houses 12 bunk beds or 24 beds and has a shared bathroom that has two toilets, two showers and two sinks. Between the two rooms there is a max of 44 guests.
Hotel Rooms
The Prairie Center houses three of our hotel rooms. Each room is set up with a full or queen size bed and a small table. These rooms also have their own bathrooms which each have a shower or tub, sink, and toilet. Each room has one bed, but can sleep two guests. With the two bunk rooms and the three hotel rooms there are a total of 47 beds with a max occupancy of 50 over night guests.
Conference Room/Guest Kitchen
In addition to the wonderful sleeping accommodations in this building, we also have our Prairie Center Conference room. This room comes with a cozy couch corner for groups to sit and talk, a kitchenet for groups to use to cook meals or snacks, and a meeting are where groups can have worship, share a meal, or have a meeting. Typically this room is set up with five round tables, near our stage so groups can eat or have a meeting with very little effort. We can however set up this room in many different ways to better fit the needs of the groups.
